Step 3: Go to your email and sign your Tax Appeal E-Forms sent to you by TaxBloom.

Once signed, your appeal is now active.

Your appeal will not be active until these e-forms are signed and complete.

Once active, your property’s assessment will be appealed up to 2x; once at the Cook County Assessor’s Office and once at the Board of Review. If the Assessor deadline has passed then your assessment will only be appealed once.

When results are released, you will be notified.

As a reminder, TaxBloom charges 33% of the first year savings.

Depending where you are in your township’s triennial cycle, your savings could last for up to 3 years!

There is NO FEE if we do not achieve a reduction in your properties assessed value. You will only be billed if we have received notice by the County that our appeal was successful in reducing your assessment.
